What is an Exercise Physiologist?

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP) are experts in the field of health and exercise rehabilitation using the prescription of exercise with a range of health issues and injuries

What is an AEP?

The AEP’s of Prescribe Exercise Physiology Wollongong excel in exercise interventions in areas ranging from chronic conditions, such as diabetes and obesity, to improve your functional ability following injury or illness.

Our AEP’s also have experience in creating exercise programs for the gym, fitness centres, home-based exercise programs, swimming pools, and to enable you to safely return to work.

Our team will provide a tailored exercise plan based on your assessment so that you can get better, move better and regain control of your health once again.

As we are a specialist AEP clinic we collaborate closely with dietitians, physiotherapists, physicians and other therapists to optimise your outcomes.

If you are at risk of developing, or have existing, medical conditions and injuries the aim of exercise physiology is to prevent or manage both acute and chronic disease or injury, so that you can achieve your own level of personal excellence. Prescribe Exercise Wollongong's exercise physiologist's will assist you with an exercise and activity based program but will also take the time to include health and physical activity education, advice and support to help you get better and stay better.
